Children’s Art Classes

Our children's art classes are for students in school years 1-6 and aim to develop a love of art and creativity while laying a strong foundation in visual arts.  Each class is designed to teach basic skills in Art using many different media and materials. Surrounded by works of art in a true artist studio, students will be inspired and equipped to create works of art in a supported environment. Most importantly we will have fun and ignite creativity and engage children in art making.

Teenage Art Classes 

Our teenage art classes are for students in school years 6-10 and are focused on nurturing students' creative potential and expression whilst embracing independence. Students will be encouraged to foster free thinking and creative problem solving skills, resulting in confidence and resilience. 

We will spotlight local and international artists, illustrators, and designers to learn about style, technique and artistic diversity. 

Skills and techniques taught include:- 

  • Finding inspiration
  • Composition and Perspective
  • Colour theory and mixing
  • Realism, impressionism, expressionism, abstract
  • Drawing and illustration
  • Painting and mixed media
  • A look at different creative industries and careers

Mondays 5.30pm – 7.00pm
